Midlands Foundation for Foster Children was proud to be the Community Organization of the Game on July 31, 2025.
Board member Erick Session threw out the ceremonial first pitch on behalf of MFFC. Erick's incredibly talented wife, April, honored the crowd with a beautiful performance of the national anthem.
We're so grateful to the Columbia Fireflies organization for their constant support of MFFC throughout the year!
Mission
Who are we? Why does MFFC exist?
The Midlands Foundation for Foster Children is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that’s all about lifting up local kids in foster care. Our mission is simple: to brighten their everyday lives and help them dream big...especially when it comes to reaching for higher education.
We believe every child deserves to feel supported, seen, and set up for a strong future.

What do we accomplish?
At the heart of everything we do is a simple goal: to raise the funds and support needed to help children in foster care feel encouraged, cared for, and ready for what’s next.

Programs
How do we achieve our mission and objectives?
We support our foster youth all year long...from providing school supplies and holiday gifts to helping with college scholarships and emergency needs. Whether it’s a backpack in August or a laptop in May, we work to meet kids where they are and support them as they grow.

Bowling Tournament
Thank you to everyone who came out to the 2025 Cops 4 Kids Bowling Tournament on Saturday, August 16! We hope everyone had a great time. AMAZING NEWS: You guys raised $22,000 to benefit foster children in the Midlands! CONGRATULATIONS!!! We look forward to seeing you all again next year. :)
